Many of you have already purchased your tickets for one or both nights, but if you&#8217;ve been waiting to see the line-up first, Banff has just released the program schedules for our screenings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each year, the Banff Mountain Film Festival receives hundreds of submissions to its film competition, from some of the world\u2019s most compelling outdoor filmmakers. From these submissions, approximately 80\u201385 finalists are selected to screen over nine epic days in Banff. The World Tour is designed to offer a concentrated snapshot of that experience\u2014distilling the diversity, energy, and spirit of the Festival into a program just a few hours long.<\/p>\n\n\n<h5 style=\"font-size: 22px;letter-spacing: 0px;text-transform: None;font-family: Lato;font-weight: Normal;line-height: 26px\" class=\"ub_advanced_heading wp-block-ub-advanced-heading\" id=\"ub-advanced-heading-f1e73b0f-dd3b-4b66-bc25-a7b8e1107936\" data-blockid=\"f1e73b0f-dd3b-4b66-bc25-a7b8e1107936\">Friday Night: Crevasse<\/h5>\n\n\n<p>Friday night\u2019s Crevasse lineup dives into narrative-driven storytelling that goes beyond action to explore the personal journeys that define adventure. Expect powerful films that weave dynamic movement and meaningful reflection\u2014stories of climbers navigating cruxes of both rock and life, skiers chasing pow beneath towering seracs, and explorers who find purpose in places few have dared to tread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlights include <strong>Jaunt<\/strong>, a quietly clever short that follows Justice as he uses imagination and routine as a daily escape from office life\u2014a reminder that adventure doesn\u2019t always require a trailhead. At the other end of the spectrum is <strong>Reel Rock: Riders on the Storm<\/strong>, which captures Belgian climbers Siebe Vanhee, Nico Favresse, Sean Villanueva O\u2019Driscoll, and Drew Smith battling relentless Patagonian weather on Torre Central\u2019s East Face in pursuit of a first free ascent. This curated collection pairs breathtaking cinematography with deeply human stories\u2014from <strong>A Baffin Vacation, Love on Ice<\/strong>, where adventurers Erik and Sarah kiteski along Baffin Island\u2019s remote Arctic coastline, skiing mountains and kayaking new rivers over 69 days, to <strong>Best Day Ever<\/strong>, which follows adaptive mountain bikers Greg Durso and Allie Bianchi as they ride beyond barriers with grit, humor, and community spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These, and other films in the Moraine line-up, invite audiences into worlds where the landscape shapes the experience and connection, adrenaline, and joy are equally at home on snowy fjords or forest trails.
