Designed with a groundbreaking manufacturing approach that removes nearly 60% of the foam, the pad self-inflates to increase thickness and provide ridged baffling for faster recovery. Each horizontal foam channel is hollowed out to reduce weight and provide progressive suspension that allows you to comfortably sink in; the baffles are linked by solid foam to evenly support and prevent bottoming out. The latest design update introduces an air baffle around the perimeter, increasing the thickness of the bridge between each baffle with no weight penalty.
The Flyer inflates on its own, and it comes packaged in a stuff sack that doubles as a pump sack. This Vortex™ hybrid stuff sack connects to the pad’s Laylow™ valve and can be used to quicken inflation or firm up the pad’s surface without introducing moisture. The roll-top sack can also be used as a dry bag.
